Our analysis: this page’s data basis
For this comparison, we continuously analyze public reviews from the Apple App Store and Google Play and assign each a sentiment rating and topics. This is not an external study, but our own analysis — Period Jul 13, 2023 to Oct 24, 2026:
Topics mentioned in critical reviews
| Topic | Reviews mentioning this topic | Share of critical reviews |
|---|---|---|
| Buffering and interruptions | 140 | 22 % |
| Pricing and billing | 107 | 17 % |
| Crashes | 101 | 16 % |
| Support | 73 | 12 % |
| Advertising | 71 | 11 % |
| Usability | 54 | 9 % |
The 6 most common topics in the 630 critically rated texts about all 10 players. We count mentions, not sentiment: If a critical review says “The interface is good, but it keeps crashing,” it appears in both rows. A review can cover multiple topics, so the percentages may add up to more than 100%. The figures describe the store reviews analyzed here, not all users of these players.
Where the numbers come from — and what they do not say: The basis is public reviews from official store listings on the Apple App Store and Google Play, retrieved regularly; each store listing is linked on the respective player page. A player only appears once 30 reviews have been analyzed — players below this threshold receive no assessment here and are not included in any figures above. Sentiment and topics are assigned automatically (Language model), not editorially reviewed: these are classifications of user texts, not test results or measurements of the software itself. This is automated because new reviews are added regularly and manual analysis would never stay current; this page is the responsibility of the iptvplayer.tech editorial team (see Legal notice). The reviews come from store users; names are not shown. Data as of Oct 25, 2026.
